Our Ambition
In EYFS at Baston CE Primary School, we aim for all of our children to come into school ready to take on the day with happiness, respect and an eagerness to challenge themselves. Through our broad curriculum, themed weeks and visits, we prepare the way so that our children will leave EYFS as well-rounded individuals who are ready to continue on their educational journeys and beyond.
EYFS Topics - Our learning is based around the following topics.
Autumn term 1: We are Baston
Autumn term 2: We are Individuals
Spring term 1: We are Storytellers
Spring term 2: We are Inventors
Summer term 1: We are Protectors
Summer term 2: We are Adventurers
We love doing lots of different activities both inside and out, regardless of the weather. We have a spacious area for us to enjoy learning and playing in.

Homework |
Any day so please keep your book in your bag |
Our reading homework aligns with the books we are reading in our RWI groups. This means that when the children change books in their RWI groups, their home reading book will also change. Reading records should be filled in as a record of the reading which the children are completing at home.At Baston we value, the weekend and see it as family time, therefore the children will not be asked to complete homework over the weekend. The children will also have a Numbots login. This programme is to help them learn their maths.Numbots: https://play.numbots.com/#/account/school-login-type? |
